BREDA – As a long-standing partner of the SV Motus study association, Improvia organizes an annual technical challenge for Mechatronics students at Avans University of Applied Sciences. This event not only offers students the opportunity to showcase their technical skills but also introduces them to the professional field.

This year’s challenge focused on redesigning a robotic arm. Floris van Veldhuijsen gave a presentation about Improvia and led an inspiring afternoon focused on innovation. The students then worked in teams to develop a new version of the robotic arm and present their designs in short pitches.

Thanks to expert jury members Robin de Theije and Iwan de Waard, a winner was ultimately selected. The day concluded with a festive reception in the center of Breda. The organizers look back on a successful day and thank the SV Motus study association for their enthusiastic collaboration.

This annual collaboration underscores FMI ImProvia’s commitment to training the next generation of technicians and engineers.
